What time will we be picked up for our Cancun and Riviera Maya tours?

Pick up times for tours from Cancun and the Riviera Maya are from approximately 5:45 am to 8:00 am.

Where will we be picked up for our day trips from Cancun and the Riviera Maya?

As part of our services, we include round-trip transportation in the majority of our Cancun experiences, we will pick you up in your hotel's lobby or a nearby meeting point. 

For our Riviera Maya swim with dolphin adventures, transportation is not included but is available at an extra cost. For more information, consult with one of the travel experts in our call center.

How long are the Cancun and Riviera Maya tours?

The majority of our excursions from Cancun last between 10 and 12 hours, we cover good distances to include the most important Mayan ruins sites and wonders of the Yucatan round-trip from your hotel.

We do offer half-day tours from Cancun, about 6 to 8 hours, including Tulum-Snorkel and Grand Cenote, Isla Mujeres Catamaran, Isla Mujeres Platinum and the Cancun and Riviera Maya dolphin swims.

Will the excursions from Cancun and the Riviera Maya be cancelled for bad weather?

 In case of hurricane or extreme winds and rain, tours will be cancelled when port authorities decide the ports will be closed for the safety of all. In these cases, the tours will be rescheduled depending on availability. 

With light rains (regular occurrences in summer and fall), the tours continue to operate, it’s a warm rain! Just come prepared and leave objects on the bus that may be damaged by water.  Some experiences are even better in the rain! 

What’s included in the box lunch?

This little morning snack includes a package of oatmeal cookies, apple, banana and juice (pineapple, apple or peach). 

Will there be stops at a convenience store on the highway?

In order to facilitate smooth operations that run on time, we do not make any extra stops. Please plan your purchases ahead.

Can you swim in the cenotes?

You can swim in all our cenote tours, please note that some of them like Ik Kil and Hubiku have depths of up to 40 meters. 

Is safety equipment like life jackets available in the cenotes?

Life jackets, lifeguard rings and snorkel equipment is available at the cenotes for an extra cost, prices vary. You are welcome to bring your own life jackets and snorkel mask. 

*The use of lifejackets is obligatory.

What kind of food is on the buffet?

The restaurants we visit offer a wide variety of dishes, local Yucatecan and Mexican cuisine including cochinita pibil, rice, beans, pasta, green salads, desserts and fruit. 

*Dishes will vary depending on the tour and the participating restaurant. .

Are there vegetarian and gluten-free options?

The small restaurants we visit do not offer vegetarian or gluten-free menus, you will find steamed vegetables, green salads and fruit.

Do all the excursions from Cancun and the Riviera Maya include food?

The majority of our tours include a buffet lunch, with some exceptions, please contact us for more information. (teléfono)

What happens if I can’t find my group?

Before the tour begins, your guide will indicate a meeting point and time. These will be easy to find locations, like the entrance to the Mayan ruins or a pier. 

*There is a little bit of tolerance time but we suggest being at the meeting point at the designated hour. 

Can children swim in the cenotes? 

Yes, though all children must be accompanied by an adult. Remember that some of the cenotes have depths of up to 50 meters. 

*The use of a lifejacket is obligatory

Will I need to bring cash with me on the tour?

Shopping, tips and extra activities are not included and we do recommend bringing enough cash with you.

How will I receive confirmation of my tour purchase?

Your reservation confirmation will arrive to the email address you share with us. No need to print it out, our staff will accept digital formats.

Can I cancel my tour?

You can cancel your tour with no penalty up to 48 hours before the departure of the tour. 

After I cancel, will I get a refund?

For cancellations made up to 48 hours before the scheduled departure, you will get a full refund.

In case of cancellation by the tour provider due to weather conditions or other operational situations, will I get a refund?

If the tour is cancelled a minimum of 48 hours notice before the tour, we will refund your money or check availability to reschedule the activity. 

Can I reschedule my tour?

Depending on availability, you can change the date of your tour for no additional cost. 

*Must be done with a minimum of 24 hours notice..

What happens if there is an accident on the tour?

Your tour includes insurance for civil responsibility and accidents. Coverage only applies if the accident was not for personal negligence or for failing to follow instructions of the guides.
